List of Ships by Class
The fleet of ships commissioned for use by the U.S. Navy includes vessels in at least twenty separate ship classes. Asbestos was a common element used in the construction of all types of ships—regardless of class—as it was regularly used in boiler and enigne rooms.
If you served on—or worked on—any of the vessels listed in the following pages, there is a strong possibility you were exposed to asbestos.
